Homes for the way people live

Three new developments represent the next evolution for Bluetree Homes

When it comes to purchasing a new home, it’s both exciting and exhausting. Homebuyers can spend hours checking real estate websites and driving to open houses and show homes. Bluetree Homes wants to simplify the process with its friendly approach and create an extraordinary home-buying experience for its customers. “We design and build homes for the way people live today,” says Yosh Kasahara, general manager of sales and marketing for Bluetree Homes. “We ensure that spaces flow seamlessly for everything from entertaining guests, to a typical weekday getting the kids ready for school.”

Bluetree Homes comes from the award-winning ParkLane Homes, a builder with more than three decades of experience. The company offers spacious and open floor plans, lots of windows and many unique features, all within communities that have a distinctive character. The company is currently introducing three new apartment developments – Bluetree Homes on Main Street, Bluetree Homes at Mackin Park, and Bluetree Homes at Brewery District – each custom-designed to blend effortlessly within each neighbourhood.

“These three apartment communities represent the next evolution for our company and brand,” says Kasahara. “Bluetree Homes is already well-known for creating outstanding townhome communities. We are applying this expertise in the design and development of these apartment communities to create highly livable homes rarely seen in the market today.” Bluetree Homes continues the longstanding tradition begun by ParkLane Homes, which is to build well-designed quality homes – everything from highrise apartments, to townhomes and single-family detached homes – all the while ensuring an exceptional home-buying experience for its customers.

1. Main Street offers some of this city’s best restaurants, eclectic shops and boutiques. In the heart of this vibrant, cosmopolitan corridor you will find Bluetree Homes on Main Street. Located at the corner of Main Street and King Edward Avenue, the four-storey building combines modern design with vintage style. Inspired by the site’s rich history, this boutique mixed-use building of one- and two-bedroom apartments will infuse heritage elements such as red brick and black window frames, with contemporary components of glass and cement panel cladding. Prices start in the mid-$300,000s.

2. If the many amenities of Coquitlam aren’t enough to entice prospective homebuyers, then there’s Bluetree Homes at Mackin Park, located in the historic neighbourhood of Maillardville. This Bluetree Homes development will soon unveil two French-inspired, low-rise buildings encompassing 86 apartments of one and two bedrooms, starting from the low $200,000s. The homes will offer the modern amenities homebuyers expect, with all of the charm of this village-like neighbourhood. Located within easy access to Highway 1 and the SkyTrain, the community is within walking distance to a great mix of shops and cafés. When it opens, the Bluetree Homes store will be located 1020 Austin Avenue.

3. Once the home of Labbatt Brewery, the Brewery District is being transformed into a nine-acre, pedestrian-friendly urban community, centrally located in the Sapperton neighbourhood of New Westminster. This is where the vision of Bluetree Homes at Brewery District will take shape. Wesgroup Properties will develop the commercial/retail component of the community, while Bluetree Homes is the residential builder for the new highrise towers. The first highrise will consist of approximately 130 homes in a modern building with heritage-inspired red brick accents.

The area’s rebirth, overlooking the Fraser River, encompasses residential, commercial and retail in a vibrant campus-like community with public plazas and greenways. The neighbourhood has been attracting many new additions, such as Take Five Café, TD Canada Trust, and a 24-hour Thrifty Foods, as well as a number of offices, with much more to come. Construction is also underway for the new corporate headquarters of TransLink, Transit Police and the Coast Mountain Bus Company.

A short walk from Royal Columbian Hospital, Bluetree Homes at Brewery District will provide direct access to the SkyTrain at Sapperton station, making getting to downtown Vancouver and other transit-connected locations a breeze. Visit Brewery District Discovery Centre located at 208 East Columbia Street.
