Moe’s Introduces Gallery Concept

A major renovation has transformed an entire floor of this award-winning Vancouver furniture store, showcasing outstanding new lines.

Whether your style is traditional or contemporary, Moe’s Home Collection is synonymous with finely crafted furniture that can transform your house into a home. Today, there is even more reason to get excited about this company’s unique, award-winning furniture stores.

Recently, Moe’s flagship store off Terminal Avenue in Vancouver underwent a transformation. The entire second floor was renovated in order to exclusively showcase several new lines, incaluding Global Views, Phillip’s Collection, Italian manufacturer Natuzzi Editions and many more brands – all in a spectacular, 17,500-square-foot showroom.

“It’s a gallery concept, which is something fairly new to the market,” says Sara Samieian, Moe’s Home Collection manager. “It’s like having mini-showrooms, each dedicated completely to each line. That way, customers don’t have to go around the whole store to find these specific lines … all the pieces are in one place.”

“Many of our customers come with their children and now we can offer them nice, unique lines of children’s furnishings which complement their Moe’s furniture.”

For those discerning customers who are looking for higher-end products, the company offers Living by Moe’s, its most exclusive line of high-end furniture. Because the company designs and manufactures the majority of both its furniture and accessory lines and imports directly to its stores, Moe’s Home Collection is surprisingly affordable. Moe’s Home Collection has also introduced a children’s gallery of home furnishings from Germany.

“Many of our customers come with their children and now we can offer them nice, unique lines of children’s furnishings which complement their Moe’s furniture,” says Samieian.

A favourite of decorators and interior designers, Moe’s Home Collection is a one-stop shop for all decorating needs. Customers can flip through piles of rugs, relish the decorated mini-showrooms, get lost in the casual yet classically elegant ensemble of delightful finds, fall in love with rare Chinese antiques, or enjoy the ambience of a modern, vintage-style room.

Moe’s buyers source markets across the globe in search of dazzling accessories such as mirrors, ceramics, cushions, area rugs, and sculptures. That’s because when it comes to merging renowned European style and New World influences, founder Moe Samieian Sr. keeps raising the bar.

Samieian opened his first store more than 20 years ago on South Granville. It wasn’t long before he had to move to a larger location. In 1999, he expanded into the United States. Today, the company is still family-owned and operated, with four stores to serve its customers in Vancouver, North Vancouver and two in the Seattle area.

Meanwhile, for those who want to sell their home, Moe’s offers professional staging services for new construction, display or show homes. Moe’s has had great success with its staging venture with very competitive pricing and a track record of fast-selling homes once staged by Moe’s.

So, whether you’re just starting out with your first apartment or looking to furnish your dream home, Moe’s Home Collection has something to fit every budget and style.
